Here are the woods I picked up today. The large piece is bubinga and the small piece is zebrawood.
And a close-up...

"I really have to figure out how to get better photos. I swear I took a picture of a penny once, and you could almost count the hairs in Lincoln's beard. I just can't remember what combination of settings I used. I'll work on it."I think they make a nice contrast, and I'm going to figure a way to incorporate both of them into the frames (mentioned in last entry). But first I have to finish cleaning up my shop before I mess it up again.

If you're interested in learning a little more about these woods you can check out http://www.thewoodbox.com/data/wood/bubingaInfo.htm and http://www.thewoodbox.com/data/wood/zebrawoodinfo.htm.

Okay, back to my shop cleaning. Later Gaters!
